The Log Cabin
Escape to this charming two-bedroom, one-bath log cabin located inside Birchwood RV Park and just about one mile from beautiful Lake Metigoshe!
The cabin offers everything you need for a comfortable stay, including water, electricity, heat, air conditioning, washer/dryer, and a fully equipped kitchen for preparing meals. Sleeping arrangements include two twin beds and one full-size bed (all linens provided), making it a great option for families, couples, or a small group.
Outside, enjoy your own completely fenced-in yard, perfect for relaxing and spending time outdoors. A propane grill is also provided for your use on the patio.
We welcome dogs 45 pounds and above and have a pet policy in place to help ensure the property stays enjoyable for everyone.
Whether you’re looking for a peaceful getaway, a week of enjoying Lake Metigoshe and the surrounding area, or a longer stay, this cabin is a great place to call home. We have a 5-night minimum stay, with options available for extended stays or even renting for the entire season!

Pet Policy
Please make sure you’re aware of our pet policy if you’ll be bringing a dog.
-Maximum of 2 dogs per stay (Must be 45lbs or above)
– $25 pet fee per dog
– Dogs must be leashed at all times when outside
– Pets cannot be left unattended in the cabin
– Pets are not allowed on furniture, beds, or blankets
-Please clean up after your pet both inside and outside
– If a pet urinates, marks, or has an accident on carpeted areas, a minimum $250 cleaning fee will apply
– Guests are responsible for any damage caused by their pets, this includes fur removal to furniture and blankets
Cancellation Policy
For Cabins:
• More than 30 days before arrival: Full refund minus the card processing fee.
• 15–30 days before arrival: 50% refund of total stay minus the card processing fee.
• 14 days or less before arrival: No refund.
We recommend travel insurance for added protection.
